Description
Circa 1880, French marquetry inlaid walnut ladies desk. The inlaid shaped top has an open, foliate three-quarter ormolu gallery, over two bow-front inlaid frieze drawers. The profusely inlaid bombe shaped bureau flap opens to reveal an inlaid, fitted interior and a sliding well. Beneath is a inlaid shaped apron all on cabriole supports with ormolu mounts.
