Description
Circa 1820. Exhibition-quality inlaid walnut Regency occasional/games table. The square top with cross-banding, boxwood string inlay and a central chessboard with individual marquetry inlay on the darker squares, over a fretted apron. Supported on four wonderful barley-twist supports on an elevated platform with marquetry panels over cabriole legs with carved knees and scrolled toes. Wonderful colour and patina.
