Description
Circa 1840. An early Victorian family sampler of very fine detail, with several stitched lines including 9 giving the names and births of members of the same family, with fine needle point skills including a house, church, butterflies, children and water within a floral decoration, in a bird’s eye maple frame with a gilt slip and glazed, the colours are rich and deep indicating that it hasn’t faded.
