Description
Circa 1870. Victorian oak floor standing country house dinner gong and beater, the moulded arched-shaped stand with a bulbous cross stretcher, resting on a pair of platform bases with carved buttresses on each side with squat bun feet beneath, all supporting a large cast bronze gong with extensive planishing, and the original beater (refurbished). Gong has an excellent sound.
