Description
Circa 1890, Chinese two tier marble top occasional table/plant stand. The large circular stand has a mottled pink marble insert. The apron is carved with flower heads and foliate carving. Beneath this is another large shaped apron again with profusely carved open fretwork of various flowers and patterns. The legs are carved throughout with unusual carving in the form of a mask at the top, foliate carving below and finishing on a hairy paw foot. Halfway down the legs is a circular solid shelf in the centre with a scooped interior. The whole piece is of a substantial with good colour.
