Description
Circa 1880. Chinese Qing period barrel-shaped marble topped plantstand. With a central circular variegated pink, white and gold marble surrounded by a beaded frame. The outswept open carved frieze with intertwined foliage decoration and supported on bold supports with foliate carving with a circular carved peripheral lower stretcher.
