Description
Circa 1920s. A large stained ash chest of drawers by ‘Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’, the well figured solid top with a small ledge and simple moulded fore-edge, with a configuration of four graduating drawers all with cast brass and silvered swan neck handles with pierced back plates and elegant pommels, all lined in ash with solid gables and back, beneath the bottom drawer is a classic ‘Whytock & Reid’ apron resting on unusual stylish feet at the front carved from the solid rails behind.
