Description
Circa 1900. An unusual stylish painted, stenciled and scumbled Art Nouveau chest of drawers, the bow-fronted top with zigzag scumbling with an inlaid stencil on the front, and a small bracket supporting the bow front, with a configuration of two short over three further graduating drawers, all the drawers with elegant pierced backplates and stylish escutcheon, with stenciling and scumbling, beneath the bottom drawer is a proud beading with a shaped frieze beneath on the front and sides, the unusual and stylish chest is on a pine carcass.
