Description
Circa 1840. An early Victorian copper and steel Lord Provost Edinburgh street light of typical tapering form, the stylish and elegant finial with a shaped base, the 4 glazed panels, one is hinged for accessing the lamp holder, supported on a cast iron base of four shaped arms locked in position by downward brass finials, recently cleaned and rewired for electricity.
