Description
Circa 1990. A good quality oak framed straw back Orkney chair, by David Kirness. The handmade chair, with marram grass tied top rail, and woven marram grass drop-in seat, shaped arms with scrolled ends, held in place by 2 uprights, one forms the back and the other for support. Standing on 4 square legs, which taper slightly, united by stretchers on all sides.
