Description
Circa 1900. An exhibition quality Sheraton style bow fronted ladies desk, the top with multiple inlays with a large arc of various inlays and broad banding framed by boxwood, the front with a bow fronted drawer flanked by a pair of shorter rectangular drawers, with flamed panel in the center framed with string inlay with canted corners, the drawers retain the original brass circular handles with octagonal back plates all are lined in oak, beneath the bow front drawers there are inlay quarter brackets, all resting on four square tapering legs with string and checkered inlay, finishing on a stylish spayed toe. (There is a removal polished plate glass top with has been bespoke to fit.)
