Description
Circa 1860. A mid Victorian elm and yew wood combed back Windsor chair of classical form, the arched top with the pierced splat with wheel in center with a proud rondel supported on six spindles, the central section which forms the arms, supported on curved uprights and balustrades, the solid elm scooped seat with scribed fore-edge, all resting on four turned ring turned tapering legs which are slightly splayed, l braced by conforming stretchers.
