Description
Circa 1930s. Mahogany Cockpen arm chair (Dalhousie chair) probably by ‘Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’. The classic shaped rail with the lattice Chinese Chippendale style back, the shaped arms supported on the side rail with saddle seat with original needle point upholstery. Back legs are turned and slightly out swept and front legs in the form of a cluster column and out swept to the front all braced by circular stretchers beneath.
