Description
Circa 1860. A mid Victorian pitch pine gothic serving table. The solid top with a simple fore edge with a concave and moulded section beneath, the front and the sides have pierced fine gothic tracery, the front with four arches and one large arch to the sides, the uprights of the tracery sections are concave, all resting on a large pitch pine moulded stretcher, flat at the top and chamfered at the front with further mouldings beneath. The table rests on four square legs with an insert linen fold on the facings, the back of the table has a simple frieze and is open.
