Description
Circa 1890. A late Victorian pine framed Orkney chair, the oat straw tied back supported on two pine uprights, the slatted seat and simple arms supported on a rectangular upright, the front with a full-sized drawer known as the bible drawer or whisky drawer. Resting on square legs with reading on the corner.
