Description
Circa 1860. A stylish and elegant French dome topped perfume casket, the domed top with parquetry pattern of stacking blocks with brass strapping on the facing top and sides with semi-precious stones on the brass strapping, the hinged top opens to a fitted interior with six gilded glass bottles with removable stoppers, the front with a very elaborate working lock and key, when the casket is closed it forms a dome with strapping throughout.
