Description
Circa 1870. A stylish ormolu and porcelain 3 piece clock garniture, the clock surmounted by a blue painted porcelain urn with acorn finial and gilded lifting handles, the large painted dial with Roman numerals, painted with flower decorations with plaques to the side and beneath, the base with a mixture of gilded ormolu with foliate casting to the sides the front with swags and ribbons and porcelain plaques beneath, resting on the front on a foliate cast foot and the side with four elegant feet, the a pair of lidded cassolettes/ urns, the lids can be reversed into candle holders, surmounted with a small acorn finial with blue painted porcelain and nicely decorated, the sides with swags and tails and supported on an elegant stem, supported on three cabriole legs with foliate casting on the front sitting on a circular base with three cast feet beneath.
