Description
Circa 1860. Rare set of 12 original Victorian oak balloon back dining chairs including two carvers. The oval curved backs with chamfered channels, a central upholstered pad and shaped lower rails. The carvers with scrolled arms on shaped supports. All with overstuffed, serpentine fronted seats with beaded seat rails over carved, turned tapering legs with original brass and brown porcelain castors. Reupholstered to calico – need recovering.
