Circa 1880. Quality George II style carved walnut stool or bench. The deep upholstery in perfect condition in a patterned tapestry cover with brass studding over crossbanded seat rail and a cushioned apron with shell carved decorations Supported on cabriole legs with shell carved knees and deeply carved ball and claw feet. Lovely mellow colour and original patina, in excellent condition.
