Circa 1900. A neat sized gilded French free standing duet stool. The top with removable fabric cushion, beneath the original cane/bergère, contained a moulded frame. The stool has a shaped, carved frieze on all sides, resting on four elegant cabriole legs with foliate carving on the knees finishing on a curled toe.
