Circa 1880, large sized Victorian carved oak hall bench, the back with 3 carved panels depicting green man/feline faces, an urn and foliate designs with a shaped pediment above and topped by carved lion face finials. There are two shaped arms with turned supports and a hinged seat opening to reveal a storage space. Below this at the front are further carved panels with mythical faces and foliate carving. The whole piece stands on turned bun feet at the front and square feet at the back.
