Description
Circa 1850, early Victorian Rosewood work or sewing table. The rectangular top has rounded corners and a thumb moulding over a deep cross-banded frieze. It opens to reveal a satinwood fitted interior including a workbasket. This all stands on foliate carved and pierced trestles on twin cabriole supports with castors. These are united by a rope twist stretcher.
