Circa 1820, fine large Dutch marquetry display cabinet. The cabinet has two large glazed doors with the classic Dutch shape, with foliate carving in the centre which is flat for holding vases, and canted corners which again are glazed with three panes of glass. The bombe shaped base has two drawers over two which are profusely inlaid in floral marquetry and below this is a shaped apron. The cabinet stands on five square tapering legs united by a shaped stretcher both front and back, which is stylised and again smothered in marquetry, on large bulbous bun feet.
