Circa 1800, a very unusual mahogany George III fold-over tea table. With chamfered edge top, that is hinged and opens to reveal a solid mahogany top and is above a simple apron with satinwood and ebony banding at the base. There are reeded sections to the top of the legs and string inlay and these taper down, with one back leg hinged and swinging out to hold the top open. Finishing on a cast brass collar holding the brown porcelain castor in place.
