Circa 1890, Qing dynasty, Chinese hongmu and marble top plant stand. With flower shaped top, pink variegated marble inset and a Chinese beaded fore-edge, sitting above a shaped, open fretwork apron. It has an elaborated carved pattern of bell drops, flowers and vines, and leads on to the mythical dragons to the top of the legs. There is a pattern of flowers running down the legs, and between them are concave stretchers, finishing on an animalistic foot.
