Description
Circa 1830, pair of William IV mahogany foldover card tables. With matching plum pudding mahogany veneers and a simple shaped fore-edge, the hinged tops opening to reveal felt lined interiors. The frieze of each has swags and a central rondel with a carved profile, with further carvings of floral paterae to the top of the legs. The back legs are hinged, and they are all turned, tapering and fluted, finishing on a bulbous toe.
