Circa 1880. Pair of stylish late Victorian octagonal burr walnut and inlaid occasional tables. The tops with a fine burr-walnut center with various bandings and inlays. Simple moulded fore-edge with an ebonized frieze with string inlay, the tables are supported on four turned, ring turned and tapering legs, intersected by a cruciform turned stretcher which has finials on both top and bottom, all resting on brass and white porcelain castors.
