Description
Circa 1770, A quality pair of George III mahogany and inlaid sloping knife boxes, tops in flamed mahogany with string inlay leading to a shaped front. Hinged tops and shaped fronts with a heraldic style escutcheon and further inlay separating the concave and convex sections, all resting on four bun feet. The knife boxes have wonderful colour style and patination.
