Description
Circa 1900. An unusual stylish pair of brass oil lamps recently converted to electricity. The tops with classic Corinthian capitals with painted and porcelain stem including roses, finishing on a stepped square platform base. One of the lamps with a presentation attached to the base in brass, presented to ‘Mr Andrew Whitehead by the staff and a few friends on the occasion of his promotion to Greenock, Paisley, Canal station, MBRY, 6th December 1900.’ The lamps will be rewired.
