Description
Circa 1850. Fine quality pair of carved mahogany mid-Victorian hall chairs. The oval pierced and carved backs with scrolled foliage to the sides surrounding a central shield. The shaped serpentine fronted seat with fluted seat rails above ring turned tapering legs in front and outswept rear supports. Exceptional quality Spanish mahogany and craftsmanship. Both chairs in excellent condition.
