Description
Circa 1880. An original stained bentwood hall stand. The central stem surmounted by a conical ribbed finial, the top issuing eight curved hooks supported by a circular bezel. The cluster column supporting four shaped feet, with the legs fixed in position by copper screws, the underside of one of the legs is stamped ‘Thonet’ finishing on block feet. The top of the hall stand revolves and is detachable.
