Circa 1860. Mid Victorian burr walnut kneehole writing desk. The rectangular top with moulded edges and a gilt tooled green writing surface, over three frieze drawers with original bun knobs. Supported on pedestals with faux drawer front doors, opening to storage on the left-hand side and to three drawers with brass swanneck handles on the right. Supported on enclosed plinths over original brass and brown porcelain castors.
