Description
Circa 1920s. A mahogany two door cabinet for holding records. The polished top with a rounded fore-edge, two full length doors each with stylish turn knob handles open to reveal two tiers each with the capacity of 50 LPs. The retailer makers label on the inside ‘R W Pentland, music seller, 24 Frederick St, Edinburgh’, the right-hand door there is a transfer image of the dog and gramophone with the writing ‘his masters voice’, with a shaped and flared frieze and the piece rests on four stylish shaped bracket feet.
