Description
Circa 1920s. A large carved and gilded cabriole leg ottoman in the manor of ‘Thomas Chippendale,’ the top upholstered in water silk which is double piped, the frieze with foliate carving including extending C scrolls, with carved leaves in each corner the extended C scrolls continue down the facing of the legs, the underside of the stool is braced for stability, all resting on four elegant cabriole legs with foliate carving on the knees.
