Description
Circa 1860. A French amboyna amaranth and porcelain mounted credenza. The breakfront D shaped outline, the crossbanded top with metal banding and porcelain panel, above a pair of cupboards mounted with four oval Sevres plaques depicting 18th century ladies and floral bouquets, flanked by a pair of curved display cupboards enclosing glass shelves with plush interior on a plinth base raised on toupie feet with gilt bronze mounts. Provenance ‘Ashley Hall, Cheshire’.
