Description
Circa 1880. A late Victorian (Aesthetic movement) walnut window bench, the solid rectangular top in figured walnut with simple moulded fore-edge, the ends with uprights finishing with conical finials braced by a turned stretcher, the seat rail with ribbing, stylish quarter brackets and a stretcher beneath supported by five geometric balustrades all resting on four turned ring turned legs, the bench/stool is clean and sturdy.
