Circa 1900. Jacobean style folding-top oak single seat monk’s bench. The circular top with Jacobean carvings on the inside, swivels on the arms of the chair to form a hall table. The arms supported on barley twist columns to a solid seat with moulded fore-edges and a simple seat rail on barley twist legs connected by an H-stretcher
