Description
Circa 1780. Jacobean-style carved walnut armchair. The part-upholstered back surrounded by open fret carving and acanthus leaf carvings to the top. The sides with turned supports with acorn finials and acanthus-decorated, shaped curved arms on turned supports. The traditionally upholstered seat and a later loose pad. Supported on bulbous ring turned legs with crinoline stretchers on small square feet.
