Description
Circa 1870. A stylish and elegant Victorian child’s easy chair (part of a high chair set). The curved chair back deep buttoning, pleating and original and the original oil cloth fabric. The two shaped arms with a small aperture in the facing for holding a safety rail in place. Back legs are square and slightly out swept and front legs are turned, ring turned and tapering with a cut out for attaching the chair to the stand, there is also a stretcher bracing the underneath for locking in position.
