Circa 1870. Stylish and decorative hand painted oriental tea caddy with a lovely degree of “distress”. The shaped top with a green background hand painted with gilt figures and a foliage, opening to a simple interior. The front of the box with further gilt and coloured flowers on a green background. Unusual decorative item.
