Description
Circa 1815. A quality Regency oval mahogany breakfast table probably by’ Gillows of Lancaster’. The top with the finest figured mahogany with excellent colour and patination, and a simple ribbed fore-edge, the top opens, and it has a double brass locking mechanism, and a small wooden arm for locking it in the open position the polished block sits on a conical beehive stem, issuing four hipped ribbed saber legs, finishing on a very finely cast paw foot with original castors beneath.
