Description
Circa 1810. A quality Regency painted and gilded pier mirror, resting on a small marble top console table. The moulded cornice with quilling, the frame with two mirrors, the top one contained in a gilded and painted slip with ribbing to the sides and the larger mirror beneath with a beaded and gilded slip which is painted on the outside, with a ribbed section continuing all sides of the frame. Beneath this there is a further quilled section, resting on a squat white marble top base with a painted fore edge, beadings like the mirror, resting on a pair of scrolling gilded legs which fix to the wall.
