Description
Circa 1830. A good George IV mahogany military chest, the top in wonderful flame mahogany with cast brass quarter brackets, the deep secretaire drawer fitted with a felt writing surface, various pigeon holes and working lock. With a Brahma type circular escutcheon and flush brass military handles, with three full length drawers beneath of different sizes with matching escutcheons and hardware. The chest rests on four classic turned fluted tapering squat bun feet.
