Description
Circa 1820, exhibition quality George IV circular mahogany occasional table. The solid mahogany top has string inlay towards the reeded edge, attached to the stem by a mahogany cap. The steam is ring turned, tapering and finishes with a vase with ring turning beneath. Standing on well carved, hipped cabriole legs with a lead carving to the knee and finishing on a Gillows style cast brass toe with foliate and acanthus leaf carving, scallop shells and on brass castors.
