Description
Circa 1770. A George III oak two-part dresser, the top with a stylish moulded cornice, the frieze and facings with blacksmith made hooks in two locations, with an shelved oak panel back, with a small beading in each section for holding the plates, the base with two drawers with oval handles (later) supported on three turned and tapering uprights at the front, rectangular supports on the back to a polished oak pot base with a moulded fore-edge, frieze with visible peg joints, all resting on bracket feet at the front, the two part dresser has great colour and patination.
