Description
Circa 1770. Mid George III backless oak dresser. The solid top with mahogany crossbanding and a simple ledge (can be removed) the front with three large drawers each with a pair of cast brass swan neck handles. Beneath the drawers there is a simple moulding, the back legs are square with a chamfer on the inside, the front legs square with a turned section finishing on an extended rectangular foot. The dresser has excellent colour and patination.
