Description
Circa 1760. An early George III mahogany side table. The solid rectangular top with a fine foredge, the frieze with one full length drawer, with fine beading and cast brass swan neck handle with a pierced back plate and escutcheon. Beneath the drawer there is a shaped apron and the table stands on four elegant turned tapering legs, intersected by a concave shaped shelf, and terminating on pad feet. The table is polished on all sides, making it free standing.
