Circa 1770. A neat size George III mahogany chest of drawers, the top with fine figured mahogany with moulded fore-edge with a brushing slide beneath, with beaded fore edge and a pair of cast brass and gilded axe head drops, below a bank of four full length graduating drawers, each with original brass escutcheons, cast brass swan neck handles with elegant back plate and pommels, with a simple moulding beneath all resting on four elegant bracket feet with a small scroll on the inside
