Description
Circa 1790, George III inlaid mahogany knife box. The sloping shaped top in figured fiddle-back mahogany with boxwood edging and an ormolu and brass escutcheon, opening to an interior (which has been altered). The serpentine front with boxwood highlighting, all over a flat plinth base.
