Description
Circa 1800, late George III boxwood inlaid tea caddy. With sarcophagus shaped top, and raised sections across, all separated by boxwood inlay. The hinged top opens to reveal 2 divisions, with small brass knobs and there are 2 brass rings to either side of the exterior. It has a heraldic escutcheon, further string inlay and all stands on 4 squat, bun feet.
